# Tally crashes when I open Group Company

**Step 1:** This error may occur when you're syncing **Main group company** in Tally as given in the image:

**Step 2:** So to avoid this error you need to select "**Sub- Group Company**" instead of **Main Group Company** in Tally i.e **Group 1** or **Group 2.**

**Step 3:** After this **Biz Analyst Sync** will work fine and you will not get **MAV** error.
