# Tally running in "Educational Mode"

**Check if Tally running in educational mode.**

**Step 1:** Biz Analyst does not support tally on the educational mode it requires license version tally.

**Step 2:** If the tally is on educational mode biz analyst desktop application will not sync company data.

**Step 3:** Activate your Tally License and then connect with Biz Analyst Desktop App.
